Cookies and website analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device. They help the website work and help us understand how people use it.
We may use analytics services that collect information such as the pages you visit and how long you stay. This information is usually not used to identify you.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies. Some parts of the website may not work properly if you do.
Direct marketing
We will only send you marketing emails or messages if you have agreed to receive them, or where the law allows it. We follow the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

Who we share information with
We may share personal information with:

Sending information overseas
Some of our service providers and contractors may store or access personal information outside Australia. This may include cloud and software providers based in the United States and other countries.
Before we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure the recipient handles it in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
If you need your data to stay in Australia, tell us. We can host many systems in Australian data centres.
How we protect personal information
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. These steps include:

- training our team in secure and private ways of working
No system is completely secure, but we work to keep the risks low.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it, or as long as the law requires. For example, we must keep financial records for at least 5 years under Australian tax law. When we no longer need information, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct it if it is wrong, out of date or incomplete.
To make a request, email privacy@techbellys.com.au. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will respond within 30 days.
We do not charge you to make a request. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing and explain how you can complain.
Dealing with us anonymously
You can browse our website and ask general questions without telling us who you are, or by using a different name. However, we will need your details to give you a quote or provide services.
Data breaches
If we suspect a data breach, we will act quickly to contain it and assess the risk of harm.
If a breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). We do this under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
If a breach affects a system we manage for a client, we will tell the client without delay and help them meet their obligations.
